This page explains the return labels as they are delivered in our RMA Confirmation e-mail.
- For Canadian customers, you will continue to receive a generic label with your part delivery
- For Overseas customers, your confirmation number will provide you with the return account number
The following is a graphic of a RMA Confirmation E-mail:

- A: Your e-mail address. If the address is incorrect, it will bounce back and we will contact you to get the right e-mail address. We will then forward this e-mail to you at the correct address
- B: The RMA Number is in the subject line and in the e-mail body
- C: The Support Ticket number that this RMA was initiated from is listed in the body
- D: The description of the part we are sending you is listed on each line. If there are multiple parts, each will be listed on its own line, even if it is the same part multiple times
- E: If the part is to be returned, that will be noted specifically in this box. If there is a return label link, then the replaced part needs to be returned. Xiotech never uses the RMA process to send parts to customers to keep and if this says to return the part, then the part needs to be returned.
- F: This is a policy statement for the type of dispatch that was used. For more detail on our policies, please see http://www.xiotech.com/supportpolicies
Each part has its own label and each label should be printed individually. Please do not use the same label on two different parts.
Note: Please send each part back as you received it. This ensures that all parts get checked back in and credited to your account. While we appreciate efforts to consolidate the parts into one box, the people checking in the parts may not realize that is what you did and you will not get full RMA credits on your account.
Click on the this label link (E) for each label you need to access. The following window will appear:
- A: This is your delivery information. We use the same information to put on the return label.
- B: Note that these electronic labels have a limited life. Please print them off within this time frame
- C: This box must be checked in order for you to get to the label. The first time you come here, it will be checked. If you then click on the Print Selected Labels button (E) then the next time you come to this page it will be unchecked. Just know that this might be why you can't click on (E) again.
- D: This is the description of the part that you are returning
- E: This is the actual button you click on to get to the label. It's a bit hidden (at least we think so) which is why this page is here.
Once you click on (E), you will get to the actual FedEx Label:

- A: This is the same address information that was on the previous screen. We've prepopulated that on the label so that you don't have to (anymore)
- B: This is the delivery address for where the part will be sent. We sometimes send parts to different locations to expedite repair.
- C: This area has the weight for the part that is to be returned with this label. Please be sure to use the right return label.
- D: The RMA number is listed here and is also in barcode form to improve check-in process of the part
- E: This is the FedEx Tracking number in bar code form
- F: This indicates the shipping method we use to return parts
- G: This shows the specific part that this label is to be used with. When you use this label - that is the part we are expecting to get back with it. Please be sure to use the right label.
Returning the Part Once you have the part ready with its label, you may return the part a few different ways:
- Give the part to your shipping/receiving department. If you regularly use FedEx, they will just take it the next time they pickup from your location.
- Drop the part off at any FedEx/Kinko's location
- If the part is small enough, you can even put them in the FedEx box if you have one nearby
- If you have a FedEx account, you can schedule a pickup online at www.fedex.com
- Call 1-800-GO-FEDEX to schedule a pickup
