Magnitude Super Snapshot Utility 

The following steps will walk you through running the Magnitude Snapshot Utility on your Magnitude(s).  This is a non-intrusive process that takes about 60 seconds and can be run at any time on the Magnitude.  Create a separate floppy for each Magnitude as files are copied to the floppy during the process.

Download the zip file, unzip the file, and copy the files directly to a blank floppy

After creating the floppy, perform the following:

1. Open the front door of the Magnitude
2. If present, use a screwdriver to remove the black panel covering the EPC (Embedded PC)
3. Insert the Snapshot Utility disk into the EPC floppy drive
4. At the Magnitude console, exit the MMC on the by pressing Alt-Q
5. Use the arrow key to select NO, going to DOS & returning and press Enter
6. The Snapshot software will run automatically.  If it does not, then type XIORUNME and press Enter
   • At this point the Snapshot process will automatically be executed from the floppy. The MMC program will restart and you can remove the floppy and proceed with the next step.  This process will not affect the operational function of the Magnitude.
7. Remove the floppy diskette from the Magnitude and note the Serial Number of your Magnitude.
8. Insert the floppy into a PC with Internet Access and send an E-mail to service@xiotech.com, attaching the file "MAGINFO.ZIP" from the floppy you created.
